About Us

To empower local volunteers to serve the people of Yardley Borough, Lower Makefield Township and the surrounding area, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote community fellowship.

• TO PROMOTE the principles of good government and good citizenship 
• TO TAKE an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community 
• TO PROVIDE a forum for the open discussion of all matters of public interest 
• TO ENCOURAGE service-minded people to serve their community without personal financial reward

• by helping with eye care services and reduced-price eye wear, and other health assistance through partnerships with local businesses and other community organizations
• by assisting with hunger relief by collecting canned goods and non-perishable foods and delivering to area food pantries
• by donating clothing, purses and personal hygiene products to aid those in need.
• by providing disaster relief to local families displaced by fire or other disasters by raising and distributing emergency funds
• by making volunteer opportunities available through outreach and relationships with like-minded individuals to better address our community needs

Anyone who is interested in the Lions Club may attend a meeting to learn more before joining. Monthly meetings are held at 7 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at:
