• Host local get-togethers at area venues (e.g., Aristaeus Brewing Co., Margarita’s, Makefield Highlands Golf Course)
• Host Yardley-Makefield Lions Club Day at the Trenton Thunder & 50/50 ticket fundraiser
• Facilitate Lions Club fundraisers at Yardley Eye Care, Yardley Harvest Day, Yardley Farmers’ Market and LMT Community Pride Day
• Gather canned goods and non-perishable foods for the benefit of local food pantries
• Deliver extra food from local markets to area food pantries

• Help local seniors with yard clean-up and other services
• Conduct Holiday Toy Drive with Lower Makefield Police Department for children in need
• Collect gently-used purses and toiletries for the local homeless shelter
• Help with eye care services and reduced-price eye wear facilitated by Lion member, Dr. Brian Cohen
• Help to obtain supportive technology for blind community members
• Maintain eyeglass collection boxes ensuring donations get to those in need
• Work with Pennsbury School District to address health issues among students
• Present Diabetes Awareness Workshops

• Support and/or assist Eagle Scout and Gold Award Projects
• Donate clothing and eye glasses to needy children in Pennsbury, directly and through Pennsbury Kids
• Sponsor needy children at Snipes Farm Day Camp
• Donate to Pennsbury graduate Neha Gupta’s Empower Orphans organization
• Raise and distribute emergency funds, clothing and food for local families displaced by fire or other disasters
• “Adopted” two miles of road on Main St/Taylorsville Rd to keep beautiful through scheduled clean-up days
